Beyoncé is lending her voice for GOOD.

Goodwill Southern California is excited to announce that Beyoncé will lend her voice to help us transform lives for GOOD. We provide assistance to anyone facing challenges to finding employment, helping them prepare for and find a job. And not just at our stores – at businesses throughout our community.

A job offers so much more than a paycheck. It offers security, dignity and purpose. We provide training, education, on-the-job experience, career opportunities and a host of additional supportive services. We help build strong families and communities by empowering people from all backgrounds to obtain and maintain economic independence and an increased quality of life. We are an environmental pioneer and the social innovator of the “reduce, reuse, repurpose” practice, diverting usable goods from landfills every year.

So please join Beyoncé in supporting our GOOD work. She will encourage fans to support our efforts by promoting donation drives at her North American concerts beginning Friday, June 28. Goodwill will host a mobile donation center onsite at 28 tour venues in 24 North American cities, collecting clothing, electronics and small household goods. The revenue from the sale of these donations will directly benefit our mission work to empower anyone facing challenges finding employment.

Beyoncé will continue to build awareness of our mission through in-concert education, social media and online ticket auctions. Global charity auction site Charitybuzz.com will auction exclusive ticket packages for The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, with the revenue benefitting Goodwill.
