In 2010, Goodwill Southern California’s Secure Shredding operations shredded 7.2 million pounds of paper. Income generated from our shredding services  help fund GSC’s mission of “transforming lives through the power of work” through education, training and job placement services.

• AAA certified member of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) for both Paper & Media destruction.
• GSC follows all chain-of-custody procedures; provides secure and locking bins, and locking trucks with Teletrac surveillance systems.
• GSC shredding facilities maintain 24-hour surveillance and professional, trained security personnel.
• GSC provides a computerized system for inventory and tracking control, and consolidated billing for regional customers.
• GSC branded vehicles, uniforms, and security containers make for easy identification.
• Dual-custody service is attended by pleasant and courteous drivers and helpers.
• All department employees have been Live Scanned and have completed thorough background clearance checks.
• GSC offers customers a complimentary professional consultation.
