How do I find a location near me?
To find a location near you please go to Find Nearest Goodwill or call 888-4-Goodwill.

Can I schedule a pick-up?
You can schedule a 48 hour priority, fee based Donation pick up service with College Hunks Hauling. Goodwill donors receive a discount (off regular pricing.)

Why should I donate to my local Goodwill rather than another thrift store?
Retail sales from all Goodwill stores support a great cause and approximately 92 percent of Goodwill Southern California’s budget goes directly into employment and training programs for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment!

For-profit thrift stores sometimes arrange to use a charity’s name to collect donations in exchange for a flat fee or a percentage of sales. This is not often publicized, and that charity often makes less than 5 cents for every dollar spent. So, make your donations and shop wisely!

Who does Goodwill help?
Goodwill serves those with disabilities and other barriers to employment. This includes individuals homeless, veterans, ex-ofenders, those with limited education or work experience, recipients of government support programs and others who are at-risk or in need. Goodwill’s services are designed to meet the training and placement needs of the individual and no one will be turned away. 

What items do you accept for donation?
See our Donation Guidelines for a list of acceptable and unacceptable doantion items.  We accept items that are in good condition and can be sold “as is.”  We make best use of items that are clean, complete and in sellable condition.  We cannot accept items that are in need of repair, incomplete or in poor condition (though our E-Waste division may accept such electronics.)  We only accept items that comply with environmental hazard and public safety rulings.

What is the Return Policy for your Retail Stores?
It’s our goal to provide value-priced, quality new and gebtly used items for our customers and hope you will be delighted with your new found treasure. However, should you need to return an item please see our Return Policy below:

  • We will issue a refund for clothing and electrical items within 7 days of purchase.  The original receipt and price tags must be attached.
  • All other items are sold “as is” and are not returnable.
  • Bin apparel or tag sale items are not returnable.
  • Adjustments will not be given on prior purchases.
  • Sales prices are effective on day of sale only.
  • This Return Policy does not apply to the Outlet or Clearance Center stores. Items sold at our Outlet or Clearance Center stores are considered “as is” and cannot be returned.
