he Goodwill Southern California Art Studio enables program participants to express themselves and hone their talents through color, texture and imagination. The studio website - goodwillarts.com - features a variety of products for sale from original works to reproductions and includes bookmarks, posters, greeting cards, hand painted terra cotta pots and more. Our participants, many of whom have physical and developmental disabilities, delight in expressing their love of life and for art through these amazing works. Just as our participants transform clay pots and canvas, so too does Goodwill Southern California transform lives by providing training, work experience, career counseling, and other services for individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, veterans, and others with employment challenges. We help these individuals find paying jobs at Goodwill and in their local community. the ART of EXPRESSION Chris began working at Goodwill SoCal two years ago in Computer Recycling and now works as a material handler in the Assembly & Fulfillment department. Chris had previously painted a few times in school, but has been able to see his artwork progress to new levels through participation in the art experience at Goodwill Southern California.
