How do I find a location near me?
Thank you for choosing Goodwill Southern California. Your
donation will help people with disabilities and vocational disadvantages find a
job, sustain a living and support their families.
To find a location near you, call 1 (888) 4 Goodwill, visit
www.goodwillsocal.org or look us up in AT&T and Verizon Yellow Pages.
Can I schedule a pick-up?
Because of the vast network of more than 85 drop-off
locations throughout our service area, we no longer offer a pick-up service. For
a location nearest you, please call 1 (888) 4 GOODWILL.
What items do you accept?
We ask our donors to donate items in good condition that
can be “sold as is.” Goodwill evolves with the times, so we no longer repair,
refinish or reupholster items donated to us. Our repair workshops have been
replaced with training programs that allow our trainees to gain competitive
skills, so they can become independent and self-supporting members of their
communities.

What items don’t you accept?
The cost of handling “unsellable” items is very high and
takes away from our vocational rehabilitation programs, so we no longer accept
items that are in need of repair, incomplete or in poor condition. We also need
to comply with the environmental hazard and public safety rulings, as well as
concern ourselves with liability issues. Therefore, we must respectfully decline
the following items:
§
Automotive parts and equipment: tires, wheels, body and motor
parts
§
Bed pans and porta-potties
