Goodwill Southern California’s job placement and recruitment services help reduce unemployment, poverty and crime, trimming the need for costly government support services while boosting the local economy with increased purchasing power. In 2012, the economic output and fiscal impact of Goodwill Southern California’s operations totaled $200.5 million. Each of our stores employ 20-30 people from the surrounding communities and these and other positions at Goodwill Southern California created $88.2 million in wages, with an economic impact of $412 million throughout the community we serve.
