For many in our community, all it takes is an opportunity. But opportunities are sometimes hard to come by for those with barriers to employment. Veterans, justice involved individuals, opportunity youth, uniquely abled, and those experiencing homelessness, are a special focus for our talented and passionate team who are determined to provide a hand up and an opportunity. Our mission is Transforming Lives through the Power of Work and at the heart of that mission is the belief that everyone in our community has value and is deserving of our time and effort. The goal is to get those with barriers to employment on the path toward a meaningful and sustainable job…and career. If successful, that advancement will lead to life-changing positive outcomes for the individuals, their families, and our entire community. Our commitment is to provide the tools necessary, in a person-centered approach, that increases the likelihood of successfully moving our participants along the path to achieve their goals. These tools include counseling, education, vocational training, upskilling, certificates, internships and apprenticeships, all available through our 11 employment centers. We are able to provide these tools with the support of our partners through generous gifts, grants, goods, donations and shopping in our stores. Today we have 81 full-size retail stores, 14 boutiques, and 4 clearance centers to choose from! By supporting our retail social enterprise, you help fund workforce development programs that provide on-the-job training and direct employment opportunities.
