On May 28, Goodwill Southern 
California hosted Riverside Inland 
Empire leaders for a reception 
and private tour of our new Riverside 
Distribution Facility. Held in the Retail 
Store Preview Center, the event showcased 
our organization’s innovative model for 
workforce development, sustainable 
retail, and social enterprise. Attendees 
heard a participant success story and 
engaged in discussions on expanding 
partnerships and community impact. 
The facility highlights our commitment 
to creating job opportunities and scaling 
its impact in the nation’s 12th largest 
metropolitan area.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Goodwill Southern California hosted the Atwater 
E-Commerce Grand Re-Opening celebration. 
The multi-million-dollar transformation of a 55-year-old, 
107,000-square-foot former K-Mart store expanded Goodwill 
SoCal’s ability to serve the community and grow its mission 
impact across Los Angeles. VIP guests gathered for a 
memorable reception, enjoying a curated e-commerce 
shopping experience, and toured the newly renovated space. 
The room was filled with Board of Directors, senior leaders, 
corporate sponsors, foundation funders, elected officials, 
and community partners whose support and collaboration 
made this transformation possible.
